The layout plan allows cars to park at the front of the campus, but within the campus, only bicycles, pedestrian paths, and rail vehicles are used. Every road, including the pedestrian paths, is shaded by large trees, providing shade along every route. The pathways connecting important buildings are covered with roofs to protect against the sun and rain. There are canals along the main roads, ponds, water trenches, and swamps, appropriately located. The connecting paths for faculty and official residences are elevated bridges, as are the paths in the fishermen’s village, as the area is a flood-prone plain. Using bridges as connecting paths helps preserve the environmental system efficiently.

Moreover, the atmosphere of the campus is blended with the architecture of the Sanam Chan Palace. Once the landscape architecture is completed, it will be a beautiful campus free from pollution, representing a future campus of Silpakorn University. (Currently, the campus is unable to operate entirely according to the plan due to various constraints, especially the rapid expansion of student admissions and budget shortages, so it cannot proceed according to the predetermined plan.)
